Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

TaDa Accounting is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Bookkeeping is a service people rely on to run their businesses, and the information on this site should be available to every visitor regardless of how they browse it. We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a box to check.

2. Conformance status

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Most of this site meets that standard. The areas that do not yet are listed in section 6 below, along with what we are doing about each one. We have not commissioned a third-party audit; the assessment is based on our own automated and manual testing.

3. Accessibility features

• Semantic HTML structure and landmark regions, so screen readers can navigate the page by heading and section.
• Descriptive text alternatives for images that carry meaning.
• Full keyboard operation of navigation, menus and forms, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• Text that resizes and reflows without loss of content.
• Layouts that reflow on small screens and when text is enlarged.
• Reduced-motion support: animations are suppressed for visitors whose system asks for it.

4. Display settings you can change on this site

An accessibility control sits at the lower corner of every page. It adjusts the site to suit how you read, and your choices are remembered on this device:

• Increase or decrease text size.
• Switch on High Contrast, which repaints the site in a palette that meets the WCAG AA contrast minimum throughout.
• Switch to an inverted or grayscale colour scheme.
• Underline every link.
• Switch to a more readable typeface.
• Force a plain light background.
• Reset every setting at once.

The panel opens with a click or the Enter key, closes with Escape, and keeps keyboard focus inside itself while it is open.

5. Ongoing testing

We test this site with automated accessibility tooling against WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules, and we check keyboard navigation and screen-reader output by hand when pages change. Accessibility is re-tested whenever we add a page or change the site's colours or typography, and we track updates to the WCAG guidelines as they are published. Section 6 lists what our current testing has found.

6. Known limitations and third-party content

We would rather tell you what does not work yet than claim the site is finished. Our current testing has found one outstanding issue.

Some text set in our gold brand colour, and some small grey text such as dates and captions, does not meet the WCAG AA contrast minimum against a light background. Turning on High Contrast in the control described above replaces those colours with a palette that does meet it throughout, so there is a way to read every page at full contrast today. Correcting the default colours so the switch is not needed is the real fix, and that work is underway.

Separately, some parts of this site are supplied by other companies, and their accessibility is not fully within our control — the appointment scheduling window, any embedded video, and content served by our analytics and hosting providers. We choose vendors with accessibility in mind and raise defects with them when we find them.
